TOM DINAPOLI VIRTUAL RECEPTION - January 10th, 2026
As you may know, Tom DiNapoli, our State Comptroller, will be in a 3-way primary this spring. Those in a NYS pension system know that they have been fully-funded for many years, and are among the best in the nation. Tom has been diligent auditing towns, villages and counties, and has dealt with frauds and misuse of funds in some of our county jurisdictions. Additionally, Tom has always been a friend of the County Democrats, coming to fundraisers when asked. A young Norwich native worked for Tom as a right-hand man for a few years, left, and is now back in his department. Attached is a flyer for a fundraising event, sponsored by some of his supporters, which will be held from 5-7 PM on January 10. Light snacks, beer and wine will be provided. Tom will be attending virtually from 5:30-6:15 PM as there are events being held in other counties at the same time. Because of the NYS matching funds, Tom gets a 6:1match of every donation up to $250/person, so a $25 donation means $175 to his campaign committee.
Here's how you can help.

You will be notified of the event location after you purchase your ticket(s.)
- If you would like to attend the event but bring a check instead, there is a contribution form that must be provided also <CONTRIBUTION FORM LINK>. You can print it out and bring it with you, or one can be provided at the event.
- Make a campaign donation but not attend the event. Use the purchase tickets link to "buy tickets" but respond to this email that you will not be attending.
