The goal of our site is to help you learn more about us and the Democratic Party as well as to access resources for ALL voters - new voters, long-time voters and future voters.

NEWS & UPCOMING EVENTS

HEADQUARTERS OFFICE OPENING: The Chenango County Democratic Committee is excited to announce that we are opening our Headquarters office effective August 7, 2024.  The address is 18 South Broad St., Norwich, NY 13815, which is the old Community bank building on the west side of Broad street directly across the street from the Cottage Bakery. This office for this election period signifies our commitment to the Democrats in Chenango County and our dedication to serving you better.

Please join us for the opening on August 7th with a ribbon cutting at 5:30 PM followed by an open house with sandwiches, cookies and beverages. At 6:15 we will head to Midland Drive to organize to march in the Chenango County Fair parade.  Josh Riley, Michele Frazier, James Meyers and Vicki Davis will be there as well as Lisa Natoli, our candidate for the newly created Chenango County Family Court Judge position.

Early vote by mail is now available for all of New York. To learn more and/or to apply for an early mail-in ballot, CLICK HERE.   NOTE: The mailed ballot must be postmarked no later than November 5th and must be received by the County Board of Elections no later than November 12th.

IMPORTANT DATES:

2024 General Election – Tuesday, November 5, 2024 - 6 am to 9 pm

Early Voting – nine days - Saturday, October 26th through Sunday, November 3rd.

  • All held at the Chenango County Board of Elections
  • Saturdays and Sundays October 26th & 27th and November 2nd and 3rd - 9 am to 5 pm
  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday October 28th & 30th and November 1st - 9 am to 5 pm
  • Tuesday and Thursday October 29th and 31st - 9 am to 8 pm

Voter registration dueSaturday, October 26 is the last day for receipt of voter registration at the Board of Elections to be eligible to vote in the November General Election.

Mail-in ballots –The mailed ballot must be postmarked no later than November 5th and must be received by the County Board of Elections no later than November 12th.
